About Charli

I started my home-based practice in 2016, after having taught overseas and at various studios around Cape Town for 16 years. My love and fascination in the human anatomy and movement stems from my dance background. It was here that I found Pilates and the remarkable benefits of the technique and the influence it had on my performance and health. I have learnt the importance of understanding your body, working with your own individual challenges and limitations and how much your body gives back to you when you honour nurture and respect it.

I work with all ages, pre/postnatal, rehabilitation from an injury or surgery and with back pain. I have a particular interest in stroke rehabilitation, scoliosis and Parkinson’s.

My sessions are all about improving mental and physical health and achieving your desired results through a thoughtful determined approach.

My hope is that my clients develop a deeper understanding of their body and take what they learn in their sessions and apply it to their everyday.

About Terri

I come from a professional ballet background, joining PACT Ballet in 1996 until 2000, when it was disbanded as The State Theatre Ballet. After leaving Pretoria, life unfolded leading me to become a member of Cape Town City Ballet, where I danced until retiring in 2007.
After years of ballet and dance, I wanted to incorporate my knowledge and experience of working with the body, and so, Pilates felt like the natural progression.
Pilates has been a healing journey for me, after over 30 decades of rigorous dance training, performances and injuries.
I qualified as a Body Control Pilates Matwork teacher in December 2008 and have been teaching Pilates ever since. I love teaching and working with clients, helping them  to understand their unique and beautiful body.

I love to incorporate Barre and Pilates in my mathwork classes and have a particular interest in Pilates for dancers, athletes, sports injury rehabilitation as well as post surgery rehabilitation.

( I am also a Practitioner of The Gentle Touch Therapy, a healing modality similar to Reiki and am a facilitator of PLR and Higher Self Hypnosis.)
